Okay, I'll admit it: the first time I saw "Suga" Sean O'Malley I rolled my eyes a little. The rainbow hair, the flashy walkouts, the whole influencer-fighter energy out of Helena, Montana of all places. But then you actually watch the guy fight and it clicks: he's lanky, weirdly long for bantamweight, and he picks people apart with that creative striking and ridiculous range. Knocking out Petr Yan to grab the belt shut a lot of mouths, mine included. What I love is that he leaned into being a showman instead of pretending to be a stoic tough guy, and the skills back up the spectacle. He's a Scorpio, October '94 kid who clearly studied his angles.
