My Take

Semih Kilicsoy is one of the more exciting young Turkish prospects I have been keeping an eye on. A Besiktas academy product born in Istanbul in 2005, he announced himself early as a forward with real composure in front of goal, the kind of teenager whose name you start hearing before the highlights catch up. The loan move to Cagliari in Serie A is a smart, demanding step, Italian defending will test him in all the right ways. He has already earned Turkey caps, and I am genuinely curious to see whether he becomes the striker the national team has been waiting for.
