My Take
Takuma Nishimura is the kind of player whose career map reads like a serious adventure — Nagoya kid makes it to CSKA Moscow at 22, bounces through Portugal, returns home to Sendai, then finds his groove at Yokohama F. Marinos where he genuinely looked the part. The 2024 loan to Servette in Switzerland was an interesting swing, and even if the permanent deal didn't materialize, he left as a Swiss Cup winner, which is not nothing. The move to Machida Zelvia for 2025 feels like a guy who knows exactly what he wants: regular minutes, a clear role, forward momentum. He's a forward who's seen enough of Europe to know his own game, and I think that self-awareness makes him more interesting than his modest name recognition suggests.
