Togi Makabe, born Shinya Makabe on 29 September 1972 in Sagamihara, Kanagawa, is New Japan Pro-Wrestling through and through — trained there, and a former IWGP Heavyweight Champion, two-time IWGP Tag Team Champion, two-time NEVER Openweight Champion and NEVER Openweight Six-Man Tag Champion.
