My Take
Tom Six is impossible to discuss neutrally, and I think that is exactly his point. I have never managed to sit through his infamous trilogy without flinching, yet I respect the sheer conviction it takes to commit fully to material designed to repel. There is craft buried under the provocation, and his background directing early reality television hints at a real fascination with human degradation under pressure. He is not a filmmaker I would recommend casually, but he is one I cannot dismiss. Love him or loathe him, Six understands transgression as a tool, and few directors wield it so deliberately.
