Tzi Ma

Tzi Ma is the sort of actor I deeply respect. Born in Hong Kong and seasoned in America, he has spent decades anchoring scenes from Rush Hour to Arrival, The Farewell and Mulan. He rarely headlines, yet the moment he appears the air in a scene tightens; that grounded presence is something you cannot fake. He built his career through eras when roles for Asian actors were scarce, and that perseverance gives his work real weight. To me he is the reassuring veteran every cast wants, and I hope he keeps working for a long time yet.
