My Take
For me, Veronica Taylor will always be the original voice of Ash Ketchum, and that is no small legacy. Dub acting is one of the most quietly influential crafts in entertainment: her performance became the actual childhood soundtrack for millions of kids who never knew her face. What I admire most is how she carried an entire Japanese cultural export into English-speaking homes with warmth and conviction, voicing both Ash and his mother Delia for eight seasons. Add the Ninja Turtles to that, and you have an artist whose voice is woven invisibly into a whole generation's memory. That kind of reach deserves real respect.
