Wallace Huo

Wallace Huo is one of those quietly magnetic actors who built his career the right way — not through flash, but through range and consistency. He caught people's attention with the Taiwanese idol drama At Dolphin Bay back in 2003, then had the confidence to pivot entirely to mainland China, which is a genuinely bold move that not everyone pulls off. The fact that he did pull it off — landing lead roles in Chinese Paladin 3, The Journey of Flower, and the epic Ruyi's Royal Love in the Palace — says a lot about his adaptability. He's got that still, classical screen presence that suits both wuxia fantasy and period drama equally well, which is rare. And he sings, he produces — the guy clearly doesn't want to be just a pretty face, and honestly he isn't.
