The8

What earns my respect for The8, The8, is the sheer nerve of crossing borders to chase his art. Leaving Haicheng in China to train in South Korea, he became a core dancer in Seventeen's performance unit while working through a different language and culture. That kind of relocation, with all its invisible labor, is something I never take lightly. Behind the polished stage presence sits years of quiet adjustment, and I find that story genuinely stirring. I am drawn to people who bloom after transplanting themselves into foreign soil, and his journey from Haicheng to global stages is exactly that kind of quiet triumph.
