Zhang Ruiyang

Zhang Ruiyang strikes me as one of the more exciting young figure skaters to watch right now. Born in 2007 and already a 2026 Chinese national silver medalist, Asian Open Trophy champion, and Olympian, she is moving fast on a brutally unforgiving sport. What impresses me is not just the hardware but the nerve required to compete on the Olympic ice as a teenager. Skaters this early in their arc often still have their most expressive years ahead, and I genuinely look forward to seeing her artistry mature alongside her jumps.
