My Take

Adore Delano embodies sheer persistence to me. From American Idol in 2008 to breaking out on RuPaul's Drag Race and then building a real music career, she refused to be boxed into a single lane. Drag, songwriting and YouTube are not side hustles for her but genuine, full-commitment crafts, and that range is what I admire most. Coming out of Azusa, California, she turned her own life into the work itself, and that authenticity reads as the real message. I find her refusal to conform genuinely inspiring, and I am happy to applaud an artist this unapologetically herself.
