Ai Takanashi

She has been working since grade school, first as a junior idol and then as a gravure idol, and in 2023 she turned professional in mahjong. On top of that she posts singing covers, plays solo shows and spent over a year in the idol rock unit LOVE Re:MiND, quietly putting herself into the world on her own terms. There's something kind of refreshing about that in an era where every celebrity over-documents their lunch. I genuinely don't know where she's headed next, and weirdly that's the whole appeal — she's a name worth remembering precisely because the story is still being written.
