Anjana Vasan

Anjana Vasan is one of the most quietly exciting actors working today, and what draws me to her is how thoroughly she crosses borders. Born in Chennai, raised in Singapore, trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama and now based in the UK, she carries that hybrid identity into roles full of life and wit. Her work in We Are Lady Parts was a revelation, and an Olivier Award confirms a stage talent that television only hints at. I sense an artist who refuses to be boxed in, and I am convinced her best, most surprising work is still ahead of her.
