Cameron Brink

What draws me to Cameron Brink is that she built her game on the unglamorous side of the floor. Anyone can chase points, but being named a back-to-back defensive standout and a Naismith Defensive Player of the Year tells you she does the work nobody films for highlight reels. Add a Stanford education to that 193cm frame and you get an athlete with real range, on and off the court. I tend to trust players who anchor a team quietly rather than dazzle, and I think that temperament is exactly why her ceiling in the WNBA feels so high. I'm genuinely curious to watch her grow.
