My Take
Eric Bischoff fascinates me because he wasn't a wrestler first, he was a TV man who understood that wrestling is theater fueled by emotion. Steering WCW into a head-on war with the industry giant during the Monday Night Wars took nerve few executives possess, and for a while he genuinely won. What I admire most is his second act as the smirking Raw General Manager, a character so detestable it was magnetic. Now, as a candid podcaster dissecting the business he helped shape, he offers something rare: an insider unafraid to admit his own misfires. I respect that honesty enormously.
