George Santos is a story I find hard to look away from, mostly because it reads like fiction. Elected to represent New York's 3rd district in 2023, he was expelled from Congress within the year and ended up a convicted felon. What strikes me is how quickly the whole thing unraveled once the fabrications started surfacing.
