Giga Chikadze

Giga Chikadze is genuinely one of the most exciting featherweights the UFC has put in front of us, and I say that as someone who's watched a lot of forgettable fights. The guy came up through GLORY kickboxing with a striking game so sharp and unorthodox it looks almost choreographed — spinning attacks, head movement, angles that most MMA fighters simply don't train for. He tore through the UFC featherweight division on a long winning streak before Calvin Kattar beat him in a 2022 main event, and that loss, honestly, doesn't diminish how special his run felt. Born in Tbilisi and representing Georgia on the world stage, he brought a flavor to the featherweight division that nobody else was bringing. I genuinely hope he figures out the adjustments and gets back to that untouchable-looking form, because when Giga is on, it's appointment viewing.
