Jason Dufner

Jason Dufner is the sort of golfer I quietly root for. He lost a playoff at the 2011 PGA Championship, then came back two years later to win the same major outright, which is exactly the kind of resilience I admire in a player. With five PGA Tour titles and an Auburn pedigree, he never sought the spotlight the way bigger names did, preferring a deadpan, almost stoic calm under pressure. To me he represents the dependable craftsman of professional golf, the player who lets his ball-striking do the talking and finishes the job when it counts most.
