My Take
What strikes me about Jolin Tsai is not just the "Queen of C-Pop" label, but the sheer staying power behind it. Winning the Golden Melody Song of the Year across more than a decade tells you this is no fluke of timing. I read her as an artist obsessed with reinvention, treating each era of pop as a problem to be solved rather than a wave to ride. In a genre that chews up stars quickly, sustaining relevance for over twenty years is the real headline. I find her discipline far more impressive than any single hit, and I keep watching.
