My Take

At 196 centimeters, Kendall Kipp already has a physical gift most volleyball players would envy, but what genuinely impresses me is where she chose to compete. Pairing elite athletics with Stanford's brutal academic demands is no small feat, and it speaks to a discipline that goes well beyond the court.
