Kitten Natividad

What strikes me about Kitten Natividad is how she turned a niche corner of cinema into something genuinely memorable. Born in Ciudad Juarez and crossing into the United States, she carried an irrepressible energy through pageants, modeling, dancing and the cult films of Russ Meyer. The adult industry rarely lets its figures be remembered as people, but I think she earned more than a footnote. There was warmth and a real sense of self in her persona that outlasted the era she came up in. Her passing in 2022 closed a distinctly American chapter, and I respect the conviction she brought to all of it.
