Lauren Cohan

What I admire most about Lauren Cohan is how she made Maggie one of the few characters on The Walking Dead who genuinely evolved rather than just survived. She carries a quiet, grounded gravitas that grounds even the most chaotic horror beats, and her British-American background seems to feed that poised, slightly reserved screen presence. I find her especially compelling because she resists showy choices, letting emotion surface through restraint instead. Her return in Dead City told me she understood the character better than anyone. To me she is proof that genre television can host real, lasting dramatic acting when the right performer commits to it.
