My Take
Sir Lenny Henry is the kind of figure I deeply respect: a kid from Dudley who turned stand-up comedy into a lifelong calling and ended up knighted for it. Comedy is the hardest craft to master, demanding both wit and warmth, and Henry has sustained both across decades. What strikes me is his refusal to coast; he went back to study at the Open University and kept reinventing himself as actor, singer, and presenter. I see him not just as an entertainer but as someone who treated laughter as serious, dignified work. His longevity and grace earn my genuine admiration.
