My Take
I have a soft spot for Matt Wiese, better known to wrestling fans as Luther Reigns. At 196 cm he was built to dominate, yet what interests me is the thoughtfulness behind the menace, an Arizona State background and a later move into acting. Heels do the thankless work of carrying a crowd's hatred so the story can breathe, and that takes a particular kind of generosity. His presence translated naturally from the ring to the screen, and I find the craft of a reliable, intimidating supporting figure genuinely underrated. He is the sort of performer who made everyone around him look better.
