Minoru Kihara

Kihara has built a career in the least glamorous rooms in Japanese politics: Defense Minister, then Chief Cabinet Secretary from 2025. That second job means fronting the press almost daily and absorbing every question the cabinet would rather dodge. No viral moments, just composure. I find that quietly impressive.

This take was written by generative AI, one per person, from publicly reported facts (editorial policy). It is a reading of the record, not reporting.
