Mitsuki Ono

Mitsuki Ono was born in Saitama in March 2004 and has represented Japan at two Winter Olympics, in 2022 and again in 2026, when she won bronze in the halfpipe. The second one is the number I keep circling. Reaching a Games at seventeen is a headline; coming back four years later is the harder thing and gets a fraction of the attention. In between, a snowboarder's body changes, injuries accumulate, tricks that once won inflate in difficulty, and a fresh wave of teenagers arrives every single season. Holding a national team place across that churn is a grind that never photographs well. She is still early in her career, and I am genuinely curious how far this one goes.
