My Take
Nao Kakuta is one of those people who somehow holds down three careers at once — acting, modeling, talent work — and makes it look less like hustle and more like just the natural shape of her life. Born in Chiba in 1987, which is not Tokyo but close enough that you absorb the city's energy without being swallowed by it, and I think that slight outsider angle shows up in how she carries herself. Then she spent nearly a decade as a pro wrestler, winning the Princess Tag Team titles in Tokyo Joshi Pro-Wrestling before retiring in 2024, and anyone threading model, TV talent and wrestler into one identity without the whole thing collapsing has a kind of quiet composure that's worth paying attention to.
