Natty genuinely surprised me — a Thai girl who navigated the notoriously brutal Korean idol trainee world and actually came out the other side as a full-fledged member of Kiss of Life, which is honestly one of the more interesting girl groups to land in recent years. She was born in 2002, which means she was still a teenager when she was grinding through that whole process, and there's something quietly impressive about that kind of resolve. Kiss of Life leans into a retro soul and R&B sound that feels distinct from the usual K-pop template, and Natty holds her own both vocally and as a dancer in that lineup.
