My Take

Oscar Gloukh is one of the brightest attacking talents to come out of Israeli football in years, and his move to Ajax made complete sense to me. An attacking midfielder or winger with quick feet and a low centre of gravity at 170cm, he plays with a creativity that lights up matches for both club and the Israel national team. Ajax has a long history of nurturing exactly this kind of inventive young playmaker, so it feels like a perfect fit. I love watching players who think a beat faster than the defenders around them, and he consistently does. His ceiling looks genuinely high.
