Ran Takahashi

Ran Takahashi is one of the most exciting players in Japanese volleyball, and I am all in. Captaining both the Suntory Sunbirds and the national team while still in his early twenties shows a maturity beyond his years. His time in Italy with Padova and Monza sharpened him into a genuinely world-class outside hitter, strong in both reception and attack. I love the contrast between his fiery energy on court and his calm, almost understated presence off it, very Kyoto in spirit. I cannot wait to see him carry Japan at the Olympics and world stage in the years ahead.
