Ryoko Yonekura

From Yokohama, a model who became the queen of Japanese primetime as the freelance surgeon in Doctor X. That character could easily read as smug; she makes it exhilarating instead, which is nerve rather than looks. Then, instead of coasting, she played Roxie in Chicago on Broadway. She keeps choosing the frightening option.
