Tony James

Tony James is the kind of musician I admire most: the operator behind the scenes who actually shapes scenes. Moving through Generation X, Sigue Sigue Sputnik and the Sisters of Mercy, he refused to settle into one band or one sound, restlessly chasing whatever felt sharpest, from punk through industrial to gothic rock.
