My Take
Whitney Thompson means more to me than a reality-show winner. As the first plus-size model to take the crown on America's Next Top Model, she walked into an industry obsessed with thinness and claimed the top prize at 178 cm of unapologetic presence. That wasn't just a personal victory; it cracked open the narrow definition of beauty the business had defended for decades. I think of her as a quiet revolutionary who gave countless young people permission to take up space. To me, that cultural ripple matters far more than any single runway.
