My Take
Xuxa is a phenomenon of a scale that fascinates me. Crowned the Queen of Children, she built the largest children's entertainment empire in Latin America, moving from modeling to hosting to singing to running a genuine business empire. Two Latin Grammy wins for children's albums prove she wasn't just a face. What strikes me is the sheer scale of cultural imprint: she shaped the childhoods of entire Brazilian generations. Manufacturing a smile that lodges in a nation's collective memory is nearly impossible, and I think stars of her magnitude deserve far more spotlight.
