Yoshino Nanjō

The award says it best. In 2019 Yoshino Nanjo received the Influencer Award at the Seiyu Awards, and that title describes her better than any job description could. Born in Shizuoka in 1984, she is both a voice actor and a singer, and asking which one is the day job rather misses the point. Her music carried her well outside anime's inner circle, which is exactly why the recognition took that particular shape. I am usually sceptical of people who claim two careers, because one is normally a hobby. With her, both are real, and both have lasted more than a decade.
