Adam Curry

Adam Curry fascinates me as a serial early adopter. Most people get one moment in the spotlight; he engineered several. After conquering MTV as a VJ, he was among the first celebrities to build and run his own websites, then earned the nickname Podfather by betting on podcasting before anyone saw its value. What I respect is not the fame but the foresight, his refusal to coast on past success. He keeps moving to the frontier rather than guarding old territory. In a media landscape obsessed with chasing trends, Curry is the rarer figure who helps invent them.
