My Take

What won me over with Donte DiVincenzo is his fearlessness when the stakes are highest. At Villanova he helped win national titles in 2016 and 2018, earning Final Four Most Outstanding Player honors in that legendary 2018 final after coming off the bench. At 196 cm he can handle the ball, shoot from range, and finish inside, and that Newark, Delaware grit has carried him to a key role with the Timberwolves. He is not a flashy superstar, but I am drawn to players who live on effort and earned trust. His hunger to win makes him exactly the kind of competitor I find easy to root for.
