Dragon Kid

I'll be honest — I didn't know much about Dragon Kid before diving in, but the moment you see footage of this guy in action, you get it immediately. He's a small, masked lucharesu-style pro wrestler out of Tokai City in Aichi, born in 1976, and he moves in the ring like gravity is more of a suggestion than a rule. While the big heavyweights are out there smashing into each other, Dragon Kid is flying, spinning, threading aerial techniques through gaps that shouldn't exist. He's been at this long enough to be a veteran, and the fact that he's still airborne is genuinely impressive. There's something pure about a guy who just commits completely to a style that demands everything from your body and never seems to dial it back.
