Fit Finlay

Fit Finlay is one of those wrestlers who earned his reputation the old-fashioned way — by being genuinely, legitimately tough. Born in Belfast in 1958, he came up through the European wrestling circuit long before the WWE machine existed, grinding through British and Irish promotions where you had to actually know what you were doing. By the time he landed in WCW in the mid-90s and later WWE in 2005, he was already a grizzled veteran, and that no-nonsense stiffness never left him. I always respected how he carried himself — no flashy gimmick, just a mean old-school brawler who could make any match feel real. His behind-the-scenes work as a producer and trainer at the WWE Performance Center feels like exactly the right second act for a guy whose entire career was built on craft over spectacle.
