Liu Yangyang

Yangyang is one of those guys who makes you do a double-take — born in Taiwan, raised in Germany, debuting in a Korean pop group, rapping fluently in English, Korean, Mandarin, and German like it's nothing. He joined SM Entertainment's NCT as part of WayV and later NCT 127's expanded unit NCT U, and his multilingual rapping chops genuinely set him apart in a group that already overflows with talent. I love that he never plays it safe on social media either — he's got this dry, self-aware humor that feels totally unfiltered for an idol under a major label. He was born in 2000, which means he debuted as a teenager and has spent basically his entire adult life in the spotlight, yet he manages to come across as someone who still knows exactly who he is. That kind of groundedness at his age is genuinely impressive.
