My Take

I file Lulu Wilson under child actors who actually survived and thrived. Ouija: Origin of Evil, Annabelle: Creation, and The Haunting of Hill House asked a young performer to unsettle audiences, and horror is unforgiving: it demands real emotional range and concentration to land. That she pulled it off so young tells me a lot. What excites me more is her reach beyond the genre, playing a teenage Gloria Steinem in The Glorias. Moving from terror to a young icon shows genuine versatility, and I am curious to see what kind of adult actor she grows into.
