Matt Ox

Matt Ox is a true child of the streaming era, and that fascinates and slightly worries me. Born in 2004 in the Lawncrest area of Philadelphia, he had a viral hit with "Overwhelming" at barely thirteen and later appeared on XXXTentacion's work before he was even an adult. That is a staggering amount of attention to absorb so young. When I see talent that blooms this early, I find myself rooting for longevity over hype. The noise around prodigies can be brutal, so what I genuinely hope for is that he finds his own pace and keeps building from here.
