My Take
NeNe Leakes is a masterclass in turning personality into capital. Born in Queens, she became the breakout star of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, then refused to stay confined to reality television, pushing into acting, producing, and fashion design. What impresses me is her instinct for monetizing her own name; she understood her brand long before that was common vocabulary. Her unfiltered candor made her both beloved and divisive, yet she remained the figure viewers tuned in to watch. Genuine screen presence is rarer than the format suggests, and Leakes had the kind of magnetism that commands a frame whether you like her or not.
