My Take

Theodore Bikel had the kind of life that almost feels like several careers stacked together. Born in Vienna in 1924, he fled to Mandatory Palestine as a teenager, trained at Britain's Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, and built stage credits in London and New York before Hollywood embraced him with a Walk of Fame star.
