Yasushi Akutagawa

Being the son of a famous writer sounds like an advantage until you try to build something of your own. Yasushi Akutagawa was born in Tokyo in 1925, the son of Ryunosuke Akutagawa, the short-story writer most Western readers first meet through Rashomon.
