My Take
Vadim belongs to that fragile, glamorous chapter of mid-century European cinema that fascinates me. A Danish actress and model from Funen, she appeared in the 1959 Les Liaisons dangereuses, directed by her then-husband Roger Vadim, placing her at the dramatic center of an era's film history. Her life was not long, yet the screen froze her presence in a permanent shimmer. I imagine her carrying a free, open spirit, and I have a soft spot for performers who turned a single luminous moment into something timeless. Vadim is less a filmography to me than an atmosphere worth remembering.
