Hsu Jo-Hsi

Hsu Jo-hsi is one of those quietly exciting pitching prospects you stumble onto and immediately think, "wait, why isn't everyone talking about this guy?" Born in Taoyuan in 2000, he cut his teeth in the CPBL with the Wei Chuan Dragons before making the jump to the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks — one of NPB's most competitive franchises — which tells you the scouts saw genuine upside. He's still early in his career and there's plenty of development road ahead, but there's something compelling about a young Taiwanese arm betting on himself in Japan's top league. I'm watching this one closely; the raw ceiling looks real and the timeline is all in his favor.
