My Take

Ko Chia-yen, who many know as Alice Ko, is one of those Taiwanese actresses I'll watch in anything because she trusts stillness. Born in Shilin in 1985, she's built a career that spans television and film with a kind of grounded warmth that never tips into melodrama.
