My Take

I find Beñat Turrientes a quietly compelling figure to follow. Coming out of Beasain in the Basque Country and breaking into Real Sociedad's midfield, he represents exactly the kind of homegrown product that club's academy is famous for, and that lineage matters to me. Born in 2002, he's still early enough in his career that I'm watching to see how far the ceiling goes, especially with a Spain national team call-up already on his resume. What strikes me is how a midfielder from a small Gipuzkoa town earns trust at that level. I'll be curious whether he becomes a fixture or a stepping-stone talent.
