My Take
Aya Natsume is one of those performers who quietly makes you curious. Born in 1996 in Shizuoka — a prefecture that feels unhurried compared to Tokyo, all green tea farms and a certain groundedness — she's working that dual lane of gravure idol and actor, which is genuinely harder to pull off than it looks. At 163 cm she carries a presence that works on camera in both modes, and the fact that she's pushing into acting rather than just riding the gravure circuit tells me there's ambition here beyond the obvious. She worked as an office clerk at a construction company in Shizuoka before auditioning into idol groups in 2015, and she has kept at it through several groups, a Miss Magazine title and now a solo YouTube channel. Curious to see where she lands in her thirties.
